Update 11/20/2007:

     For the past year (November 2006) I have been working full-time for the Rosacea
     Treatment Institute of Texas as their Rosacea Specialist, Rosacea Consultant and
      Staff Member. This is a permanent position. My duties include: personally evaluat-
      ing each case in collaboration with the Medical Director, Dr. Nielson, collaborating
      every day on each patient's progress, adjusting treatment protocols and treatment
      settings to make sure we treat the entire patient-- symptoms, triggers, neural
      burning, flushing and ocular symptoms. We have also been very active in setting
      up the New Rosacea Institute building with its multiple treatment rooms (for various
      symptoms and triggers) and advancing our post laser care to include treatment with
      Pure Medical Grade oxygen, micellized antioxidants and aminoplex that helps prevent
      post laser inflammation, aid the healing process and thicken the epidermis.   We
      utilize the latest technologies and the latest rosacea theories in a safe and effective
      way -- this is all we do, every day. My personal Rosacea Consultation page has been
      updated to reflect my position as I have not performed personal consultations in
      over a year. My full-time position at the Institute is my only position and is long-term.

Dr. Geoffrey Nase has officially begun consultations with rosacea sufferers. These consultations are performed either online or in person. Dr. Geoffrey Nase is a Rosacea Specialist and Consultant for Rosacea Consulting Specialists LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Nase was a rosacea sufferer for many years. What is a Rosacea Specialist?

To be absolutely clear, the medical definition of a Rosacea Specialist is ---- A person who has advanced training in human physiology (how the body works under normal conditions) and pathophysiology (how the body works in diseased states) from an accredited University School of Medicine. This person must have expertise in skin anatomy and function, blood vessels, nerves and skin receptors. This person must also have completed a specialized Post-Doctoral Fellowship or Residency at a University School of Medicine. Lastly, this person must focus most of his research, clinical testing, and/or publishing on rosacea to be considered a rosacea specialist. Dr. Nase has fulfilled all the above criteria.
